As of May 2nd we are no longer accepting entertainer applications for the 2008 festival. All applicants after May 2nd will be considered in the list for the 2009 festival.

Fre Atlast & Birds of a Feather Community Drum Ensemble
Saturday July 19th at 11:00am - Perfomer Fre Atlast invites all drummers to gather at the Opening Ceremony of the Rosendale Street Festival, and kick off the festivities. Drummers will meet at Ron Parenti's Peace Garden on Main Street (next door to Bill Brooks' Barber Shop).   Sunday July 20th at 11:30am - Also, Fre Atlast and Birds of a Feather Community Drummers will have a procession through town to start Sunday's festivities. They will be joined by the Twisted Tassel Dance Troupe. This will be a joyous march through Main Street.

This is a free festival, run by volunteers, and as many services as possible are obtained without charge.

Minimum Information we Request from Performers
  • A paragraph description of the performer, including genre, influences, and bio information.
  • A paragraph about your relationship to Rosendale or the Hudson Valley.
  • A link to your web site.
  • A link to one or two representative internet audio samples of your work. You can upload your samples to any of the many web sites that can host MP3s, like PureVolume or MySpace. We no longer provide a way to upload sound and video files to our site.
  • Contact information; at least name, email and phone.

  • Please provide us with information about performing via our online forms, rather then sending us an email with the information. Emails do not always contain all the information we require, and are difficult to track and organize. Submitting information via our forms puts them into a database, so that when our volunteers are available, they will be able to easily review your information.
